With the introduction of a new core range, Tormore signals the beginning of an exciting new era.

Tormore Timeless arrives with quiet confidence—elegant Speyside character wrapped in a modern presentation that lets the whisky do the talking.

My tasting notes:

Nose: Sweet, creamy and inviting. Ripe orchard fruits, honeyed malt, vanilla pod, citrus zest and delicate floral notes, all wrapped in gentle oak

Palate: Beautifully composed and very creamy, bringing baked apples, poached pears, creamy toffee, shortbread and warming spice, balanced by a silky texture that keeps you reaching for another sip.

Finish: Long and refined, with sweet oak, soft pepper, toasted almonds and lingering vanilla.

With water: A few drops of water open it up, lifting fresh blossom, brighter citrus and subtle tropical fruit while allowing the sweetness to become even more elegant.

This is a tasty dram!

Joining the new core range alongside the 12 Year Old and 16 Year Old, Timeless is aged exclusively in American white oak, bottled at 43% and presented with natural colour. And at just over £40, it feels pretty well judged in today’s single malt landscape.

No real gimmicks here, just a very honest, well-made whisky, with a distillery which is, in my opinion, ready to step back into the spotlight.

Can’t wait to try the 12 and 16!

Slàinte all!
