Another quick review today with some Edradour single cask presented in a really nice Ibisco decanter! Picture courtesy of Master of Malt Distillery : Edradour Bottler : Distillery Age : 14 years old Distilled : 17 November 2000 Bottled : 10 March 2015 Cask : ex-sherry (nb 3142) Abv : 58.4% Unchillfiltered : Yes Natural Colour : Yes Nb of bottles : 697 Extra : Ibisco Decanter series Nose : Rich and sweet, chocolate, spices, prunes, black cherries, crème brûlée, a touch of wood, roast nuts and a slight hint of burnt toffee. Palate : Woody and sweet, dark, drying, sherry soaked oak, dark chocolate and dark fruits, black pepper, mix of prunes and dates, walnuts. Finish : Fruity sherry nuttiness, oak notes, blackberries, prunes again, long and warming, raisins and cherries continue to linger after a while. With water : The nose loses some spice and gets sweeter with more milk chocolate. The palate is not as woody or drying. The dark fruits turn into red fruits with hints of citrus (candied
